Who is responsible for your data
Fix Your Income is operated by Elverum Digital, organisation number 932885190, Rebækkas Gate 21, 1534 Moss, Norway. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@fixyourincome.co.
What we collect
- When you download something free: your email address, and your first name if you give it.
- When you buy something: your name, email address, billing country, and the details of your order. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
- When you log in to your library: your email address, the one time code we send you, and the device you logged in from.
- When you message us on Instagram: the content of that conversation, and your Instagram username.
- When you visit the site: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you opened.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
- To deliver what you asked for. If you download a free resource or buy a product, we process your data to send it to you and to provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To send you email. If you sign up, we send you emails about our products and about growing on Instagram. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, and we will stop.
- To keep records. We keep purchase records because Norwegian bookkeeping law requires it. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To understand how the site is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving what we offer.
Who else processes your data
- Cloudflare, for hosting this site, the store, our database and our file storage
- Stripe, for payments. Stripe acts as the merchant of record for your purchase, which means Stripe is the seller on your receipt and handles payment related support
- Resend, for sending the emails that deliver what you bought
- MailerLite, for our email list
- ManyChat, for Instagram messages
- Google, for site analytics
- Meta, for advertising and audience measurement
Some of these are based outside the EEA, mainly in the United States. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, and for 12 months after that so we do not add you back by accident.
- Purchase records: five years, as required by Norwegian bookkeeping law.
- Login codes: fifteen minutes. Login sessions: ninety days, or until you log out.
- Instagram conversations: as long as the conversation is open in our inbox.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, at datatilsynet.no.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, including the one that keeps you logged in to your library, and analytics cookies that tell us which pages people open. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop checkout and login from working.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on our email list, we will tell you.
